McNeil Fitness Centre Rental Information

The McNeil Fitness Centre has adopted a new booking system to streamline the process. Please scroll to the bottom of this page or visit our booking website to access the new system.

| Rate | $60.00 per hour + GST |
| Payment | Upon approval of your booking, you will receive a Square payment link. If you cannot pay via Square, please contact accounting@elmwoodyxe.ca as soon as possible. |
| Capacity | The McNeil Fitness Centre has a capacity of 192 people, but the comfortable seated capacity is 144. |

Rental Times Security Cameras |
Rentals are available between 8am -10pm. Rentals cannot extend past 10pm. If there is a rental before you, please wait in the foyer until they are out. There are two cameras installed in the McNeil Fitness Centre for safety and security purposes. These cameras are operated by Elmwood Residences Inc. and any question or concerns can be directed to rentals@elmwoodyxe.ca . |
| Chairs | The centre has 128 white chairs, 12 chairs with arms, 68 folding chairs and 18 camping chairs. |
| Tables | There are 24 round tables and 9 rectangular tables. |
| Coffee Maker | A coffee maker is available for rent at an additional cost of $25. |
| Ice Machine | The centre does not have an ice machine. |
| Fridge/Stove/Microwave | The centre does not have a fridge, stove or microwave. |
| Kitchen | There is a small prep kitchen available for use. You can hire a caterer if you would like. Please supply your own plates, cups, utensils and utility items. These must be cleaned after use. |
| Mic/PA System | The centre does not provide a mic/PA system. Please bring your own. |
| Bar/Smoking | No alcohol or smoking is allowed at the centre. |
| Stage | A stage is available for use. |
| Washrooms | There are men’s and women’s washrooms with one accessible stall. |
| Parking | The McNeil Fitness Centre has its own parking lot free of charge or street parking. Please do not park at Nutana Curling rink as you may be ticketed. |
| Early Set-up | Renters are not allowed to set up early. Please ensure that your rental time includes set-up time. |
| Air Conditioning | The centre is air-conditioned. |
| Tables & Chairs | All chairs and tables must be put away after use so that they are ready for the next user. |
| Cleaning Supplies | The centre provides cleaning supplies for the average booking. This includes mop and brooms. |
| Garbage and Recycling | The centre has a commercial dumpster for garbage and a commercial blue bin for recycling. Please empty these before you leave. |
| Damage to Elmwood Property | If Elmwood property is damaged during your rental, you will need to replace the item or pay a percentage of the item’s value. |
| Cancellation Policy | Applications may be cancelled by applicant up to 7 business days before the rental time without penalty. Any cancellations within the 7-day period will be assessed a penalty equal to 100% of the rental. |
| Access to the Centre | Two days prior to your scheduled booking, you will receive a code for the smart lock and instructions on how to access the centre. |
| Bouncy Castle Waiver | If using a bouncy castle at your event, you are required to provide a copy of the completed waiver provided by your Bouncy Castle Rental Provider. You can either provide this at the time of booking on the website or you can send it to rentals@elmwoodyxe.ca prior to your scheduled booking. Elmwood assumes no responsibility or liability for injuries which may be caused by bouncy castle equipment or usage. |
